Organization’s Mission
The National Flooring Contractors Apprenticeship Program (NFCAP) is an industryrecognized apprenticeship program registered with the Department of Labor. We aim to set a standard in the flooring industry and train a new generation of flooring tradesmen to become professionally certified. Our organization’s network is connected to 3 national vocational schools (Job Corps, YouthBuild, and Big Picture Learning) with over 200 campuses nationwide, making our program accessible to students anywhere in the nation. To ensure the best training in the industry pre-apprentices will receive training from flooring manufactures. Apprentices that enroll will receive training from industry recognized associations (NWFA, CFI, NTCA, CTEF, NAFCT, etc.) during their 3-4 year apprenticeship. Therefore, NFCAP will recruit students, provide them with factory and certified training, and placed them with the healthy flooring companies.
Custom Training Curriculum
We understand that each company has a distinct corporate culture, so we will personally tailor each company’s training curriculum in accordance with their unique standards. Through our comprehensive training guidelines, our program will discipline apprentices to professionally represent your company while working for your customers. We assign managers to work closely with each company in order to ensure that apprentices are receiving the proper training both online and in the classroom. Our program’s curriculum will focus on the technicality of flooring material, skill sets for different installation methods, and customer service management. When apprentices complete this 3 to 4 year program, they will receive an official certificate from the Department of Labor. Our primary goal is to train these apprentices to develop a professional corporate attitude and give your clients the best experiences possible.
